Economic Development Week Celebrations, May 9 to 13, 2022
Every week is Economic Development Week at Ontario East!
We are pleased to support the IEDC, our economic development partners and members as we promote the official Economic Development Week for economic development professionals to use as a platform to showcase their communities and the contributions made to their local economies throughout the year.
Much of what Economic Development Officials (EDOs) do throughout the year goes unheralded, but the dedication, planning and hard work they contribute to the economic wellbeing of our communities is critically important in ensuring our region remains one of the best places to live, work and play in Ontario, and in Canada.
The Ontario East regional marketing team participated in the first live RC Show (Restaurants Canada) in two years, in Toronto along with 12 local food & beverage producers showcasing their capabilities and products to industry suppliers, brokers and owners.
The RC Show was very well attended and many great connections were made to promote Ontario East as a premier place to operate your business.
