Ontario East December 8th Quarterly Meeting Update
The Ontario East Economic Development Commission welcomed over 40 people to our most recent Quarterly Networking Meeting in Kingston at the Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre at Queen's University.
We heard from Enbridge, Southern Ontario Network of Advanced Manufacturing Innovation, FedDev Ontario, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada with an update on Umicore and a tour of the impressive Canada Royal Milk facility.
Thank you to all of our participants for making the gathering such a great success.

Just a year after unofficially opening the new LAUNCH Kawartha Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre on Kent Street in downtown Lindsay, the team is expanding with a dedicated Business Advisor & Program Manager. The LAUNCH Kawartha team is seeking a dynamic professional with a passion for supporting the entrepreneurs of Kawartha Lakes and driving economic development and innovation in our region.
The position will support multiple programming initiatives and events in partnership with the Innovation Cluster and other strategic partners in the innovation space. The position is supported by the Kawartha Lakes Business and Community Development Corporation (KLBCDC), an innovation-focused entrepreneurial and economic development ecosystem organization that provides funding, business advisory and support, incubation, and acceleration services to entrepreneurs.
