Ontario East Participates in EDCO's Queen's Park Day

 

Ontario East was pleased to participate in the Economic Developers Council of Ontario (EDCO) annual Queens Park Day in Toronto on November 5.

 

Executive Director Jay Amer and Board Director Bob Peters, City of Cornwall represented Ontario East in a full day of meetings and networking with provincial elected officials including the Hon. Vic Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation & Trade and the Hon. Nina Tangri, Associate Minister of Small Business along with several eastern Ontario MPPs including Rick Bresee (Hastings-Lennox & Addington), Laurie Scott (Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock) and John Yakabuski (Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke) and more. Ontario East Board Director and EDCO Board candidate Abdul Razak Jendi also participated on behalf of Kingston Economic Development. 

Congratulations to the EDCO team on a successful event!

Municipality of Brighton Seeking Member Assistance

 

The Municipality of Brighton is creating a branding subcommittee and is seeking insights from municipalities that have undergone a rebranding in the past five years, and requesting that they explain the rebranding process they went through at the municipal level to the Brighton subcommittee (either in person or over Zoom, if preferred).
