A month to:
celebrate the impact manufacturing has on our local, provincial, and national economy
get more young people and job seekers interested in manufacturing careers
Why should you care about Manufacturing Month?
Because:
manufacturing is the backbone of not only eastern Ontario's economy, but also Canada's as a whole
choosing to buy locally made products and support local manufacturing businesses invests in our economy - keeping jobs local
manufacturing has an undeserved bad reputation in Canada: it's actually an innovative, technology driven sector with many opportunities for growth and stability
